Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today’s post is going to be talking about some of my favorite makeup that has held up through the summer. Summer makeup can be super hard to perfect, what with all the sweating, water, and hot weather. The makeup products below are some of the things I’ve found that have worked really well for me this summer. Check out my favorite summer products below! Continue reading
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today I’m going to be showing my planner for this week, August 7th-13th. This week’s spread is a nautical spread that I created using images found on Pinterest. I also have a regular sized Happy Planner which I have been loving using this year. Hello everyone, long time no see! This month has been super crazy, but dear god how are we already in August? 2017 has been flying by, and with no surprise here are some of my goals for this month.
I’m not going to lie, I struggled to come up with goals for this month. My life has sort of been plateauing lately it seems, both creatively and professionally. I’m trying to get back on track before the end of the summer, so that’s sort of my larger, umbrella of goals. This month I’m sharing that I’d like to finally open a new bank account and ditch my current, terrible one and save $300 on the financial front. I’ve struggled this month after having to pay out of pocket for a dental procedure and moving, so I need to build back up my savings! I also want to spend more time at my apartment’s pool enjoying summer and maybe get around to finishing a book or two poolside. I also would like to get in more driving practice since it is pretty important for me to get my driver’s license (another adult responsibility I’ve been shirking). Lastly, I would love to stop biting my nails this month. Honestly, it’s more of an anxious tick that I haven’t shaken over the years but I would like to rid myself of this dirty habit.
So there you have it, my goals for this August. They aren’t big, life changing ones, but who needs those every month? Sometimes you just need to get back on track and tackle some of the little things. What do you want to accomplish this month? Let me know in the comments below and hopefully you’ll be hearing from me soon!
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today’s post is my July goals for 2017, which is honestly just crazy that we are already 7 months into this year. I’m absolutely pumped for July, I love the summer and I’ve got some fun things coming up this month. Check out my July goals below!
My favorite holiday ever is Fourth of July, so I was super excited to celebrate this yesterday and see some fireworks in my area!
Confession time: I am 23 years old and I cannot swim in the slightest. This month I’ve moved into an apartment complex with a pool so I will be learning to swim this month, so I will be learning to swim with all the time I plan to be there!
I’ve also never been camping in my life and this month I am going camping with my boyfriend and his family. I’m pretty excited but also slightly nervous since I’m not the biggest fan of bugs or the wilderness. Who knows, it’ll be a learning adventure!
The thing I am most looking forward to this month is spending lots of time over at my apartment’s pool and driving over to the beach on the weekends. I love the beach, but will be mostly satisfied anywhere I can lay out in the sun and relax.
This month I have two financial goals, open a new bank account that I can use locally and save $500. My bank account doesn’t have any branches or ATMs in my new area so I need to bite the bullet and open a new one. I also just moved, so my savings account has seen some better days.
Lastly, I’m super excited to plant some new plants on our porch, since we moved and have more room to have plants. I’m trying to not kill everything I touch so I’m starting off small, but I hopefully will have some pretty flowers by the end of the month!
So there we have it, my goals for July 2017! What are some goals or plans you’re looking forward to for July? Let me know in the comments below! See you next time!
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today I’m talking about some of my favorite nail polishes for this upcoming season, summer! I absolutely love painting my nails during the summer since they pop out so well against a tan and can really pull together a look. I also have been painting my nails much more because I’m trying to kick the nasty habit of nail biting, and when my nails are painted I never want to mess up the polish. Check out some of my favorite nail polishes for the summer below! Continue reading

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today’s post is going to be my goals for this month, June! I honestly cannot believe that it is already halfway through 2017, it feels like I just moved out of New York a month ago. This is the month I’m going to get my butt into gear, I swear! I’ve got a bunch of plans for the month that I’m pretty excited for, so let’s just get into it!
To start off, for literally months I’ve been dying to go visit the Boston Aquarium since we live like an hour and twenty minutes away from it, and this month I am going! After having to cancel our original plan to go during Memorial Day weekend, I am more pumped than ever to go see the fish this month and possibly sea turtles. Ever since watching Finding Dory during a weekend where I was sick, all I have wanted to do is go to the aquarium, and we’re going!
I’ve also found that I’m much more comfortable behind the wheel lately, and I think this is the month I truly get serious about getting my driving license. New Hampshire just doesn’t have the public transport that New York does, so getting my license is less of a formality and more of a requirement around these parts. I’ll be signing up for my lessons this month and putting myself on the fast track to getting my license!
I’m also hoping to read (and complete) three whole books this month, which can actually be a lot when you work full time and don’t have as much downtime as you did in your student days. I’ve been acquiring some interesting reads from Goodwill and I’m pumping to get back into my old favorite hobby.
This month marks the start of tanning season for me and I am determined to lose my vampire-esque skin tone. I work in a preschool, so I’m outside two times a day, and there is no reason for me to stay pale this summer!
This month also marks the first day of summer and I literally cannot wait! I love being by the poolside or at the beach, summer barbecues, and just feeling the warm sun on my skin. Here’s to my second favorite season!
Lastly, we are moving to a new apartment at the end of this month and I am stoked! While the apartment we’ve been in has been relatively good to us, we’re moving closer to my job and it will be a whole lot easier of a commute. Plus it has two pools! I’m just ready to be in a bigger city and away from downtown.
So there you have it, my June 2017 goals. I’m pretty excited for this coming month and I really can’t wait to complete some of these goals and get through our upcoming plans! What are some of your goals for the month? Let me know in the comments below!
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today I’m going to be sharing my monthly goals for May, considering it’s already May 1st! I cannot believe that it has been five months since I moved and this year began, time moves by so quickly these days! Check out my goals for this month below.
This month I am excited to celebrate Teacher Appreciation week/day because I work in a preschool as a Assistant Teacher. I love my job and its always nice to be appreciated for what I’m doing. 🙂
This month I want to finish two books since I’ve been pretty bad this year about reading. Since literature and books are something I actually love, I just need to find the time in my daily schedule to sit down and read a few chapters.
Last month my boyfriend and I got gym memberships and after going for all that time I’m averaging about 2 miles every trip on the treadmill. For May I’m looking to keep progressing in my running and hit 3 miles on average everyday.
This month my Mom and my Grandmother are coming to visit for a day and I’m super excited to show them around this new place I call home!
With this gorgeous spring weather in full bloom I’m really excited for the start of Farmer’s Markets which are held basically across the street from where I live! We’ve been trying to eat more healthy so it’ll be nice to start shopping there on the weekends.
Literally ever since we moved here I have been trying to go to the aquarium in Boston every weekend. I watched Finding Dory in a week where I was super sick on the couch and now I just want to see the fishes. Basically, I am going to that aquarium this month, mark my words! I will see the fish and the turtles!
With the end of the month comes Memorial Day, and since I sort of consider that the start of summer in my mind, I would love to have some sort of BBQ to celebrate the beginning of beautiful summer weather and lazy weekends at the pool and beach!
Well there we have it, my seven overall goals for the month of May 2017! What are some of your goals for the month? Let me know in the comments below! See you next time!
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today’s post is going to be 13 thoughts about the new Netflix TV show, 13 Reasons Why. I used to love this book back in high school, it really resonated with me as a lonely teenager who dabbled in depression and could relate to the troubles of the characters in the story. Once the show came out on Netflix I wasted no time in marathoning the series, sometimes with commentary by my boyfriend and others alone in my dark living room, completely drawn into the story. Check out 13 of my thoughts about the new series below! Continue reading
