Hello readers, thanks for checking out my blog!
Since this blog is meant to be sharing the different experiences I’m facing in my life, I thought it would be nice to introduce myself – it is the polite thing to do, after all.
My name is Jen, and this is my story.
I’m a senior in college, majoring in History with a double minor in Medieval/Early Modern Studies and English. I love researching, writing, and editing; it’s so interesting to study people and places in the past and see how they have affected the future. I’m currently working at a library on campus, which is in juncture with the Education department and holds a variety of children’s books and learning materials. I love being able to work in a library setting, and I’ve also been creating annotated bibliographies for the Education department to give out to students as a guide when researching.
Besides my academic and work life, I’ve been deeply involved with the Circle K International organization on campus. After previously being elected as editor, I was elected President in February 2014 and have been leading over the club. Volunteering is a passion of mine, and Circle K allows me to fulfill my passion whilst getting leadership experience. Through Circle K, I’ve been able to help organize and plan large-scale fundraisers which have been wildly successful, meet new and interesting people, and help my community.
Also, I’m from New York, I’ll be 21 in almost two weeks, and my favorite color is green.
So now that you know a lot about me, I want to get to know you. Comment below with some fast facts about yourself!
Until next time,
