Hey bloggers, happy Tuesday! In today’s post I’m going to walk you through what apps I use on my phone and how I organize them! Just a side note, I have a lot of issues with space on my phone because I use it secondarily to listen to music, so the apps I have downloaded now are ones which are vital to me and I use on a consistent basis. Check out what’s on my iPhone below!
My lock screen is pretty basic, it just has the time and date, and then my picture is one of my boyfriend and I from last summer. I have plenty of pictures that I could switch it out with, but it’s honestly just my favorite and makes me happy when I open my phone.
My first page of apps includes all the ones that come with the iPhone, so I keep ones like camera, photos, and weather out as I use them more often. Apps like stocks and passbook get thrown into that extras folder, which also has the Verizon contact sync app which just keeps my contacts backed up. The only extra app here is the Chase app, because I use that bank and it’s one of the essentials that I consider important on the first page. My bottom row is the apps which I use the most, which includes phone, messages, my email, and my music. My background is also another picture of me and my boyfriend on a recent trip to a nearby town, and I just think it looks pretty cute!
The second page has my extra apps which I’ve downloaded and use regularly. Facebook and Messenger, Instagram, and Snapchat are on the top because I check them the most. YikYak and Twitter are on the second row because I check them as well, but they’re not my go-to. The Youtube app is there because I have a Chromecast (more about that in a minute), and then I have a folder of apps which I don’t use as often entitled Misc.
This folder includes apps I use but don’t need cluttered my screen. I have the Chromecast app to play things on my TV, and the Netflix app which is used primarily for Chromecasting. I also have Buzzfeed to keep me entertained when I’m bored and do fun quizzes. Retrica and Studio are the apps I use to edit pictures I take for Instagram and this blog. Timehop is an app I don’t really use that often, but it’s just there because I check it once in a blue moon. 8tracks is a great app to find music playlists, and Pink Pad is my period tracking app which is amazing and I couldn’t recommend more to women.
So there you have it, that’s the different apps and things that I keep on my iPhone! Let me know in the comments if you have any fun apps or games to recommend, and have a lovely day!
