Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today’s post goes out to all the students headed back to school, wether it’s college, high school, or middle school. For many college students, the first two weeks of classes have passed and students are beginning to fully understand what supplies they may need on a regular basis, while high school and middle schoolers are just beginning classes and wondering what supplies would be helpful. Check out my post below on what supplies I think are essential for the school year!
5 Subject Notebooks with Folder Dividers
These notebooks are my holy grail school essential. I love these notebooks, they keep all my notes and homework in one convenient place while still keeping you organized. Throughout my education history, I’ve always had around 5 classes at most, so the five subject notebooks create the best setup for me. However, there are a few things to remember with this notebook. First, don’t lose this notebook. If you are the forgetful type, this is not for you. Don’t risk losing all your notes if you will leave things behind. Also, make sure your handouts fit inside the folder dividers, otherwise they won’t be of much help to you. Otherwise, enjoy the extra space in your school bag since you won’t need to carry around a bunch of notebooks and folders!
Papermate Flair Marker Pens
These markers are a god send! The color range is fantastic, with excellent payoff and little to no bleed through on your pages. Also, because the markers are semi-fined tipped, they are really good for note taking. I swear by these markers for color coding in both my notes and my planner, and I’m usually carrying a few colors on me throughout the day.
Staplers in college are basically an endangered species, so carrying one on you is your best bet to becoming the most popular person in your class. Since the stapler is mini, it will fit well in most pencil cases and bags, and you’ll be thankful for having one on mornings when papers are due. Just make sure it’s always full, because it’s not any help empty in your bag!
Protip: Have a planner. Just do it, you’ll thank yourself during midterms/finals week. It doesn’t matter what size planner, how expensive it is, or wether it’s a planner app, just have a place to put down important dates and deadlines! It’s necessary to keeping organized and helps you gain a clear, stress-free head. Plus, check out the planning community on Youtube and blogging, it’s full of great people and it’s a great way to have a creative outlet!
Well, that’s it for today’s post folks! Let me know in the comments below what are some of your school supply essentials, and I’ll talk to you next time!
