November 2015 Life List

Hey everyone, happy November! I can’t believe that October has gone by so fast, but I’m not that torn up about it because my favorite month of the year has arrived! Check out my life list for the month below, and click under the cut for an explanation for what I’ve included on it!

November Life List

Bake a pumpkin pie

Now that I am getting more into baking these days, I want to make more pies since it’s that season of the year. I’m hoping to bake pies for the Thanksgiving celebrations I’ll be having this month!

Play in a pile of leaves

My favorite fall activity as a kid was jumping directly into the leaves my dad had just finished raking together, effectively ruining his hard work. Now that I’m older raking leaves isn’t as much fun, but it’s always a good idea to keep your inner child alive!

See my friends and family

This is the first year I won’t be home on the actual day of Thanksgiving (the joy of working a job open 365 days a year), but I’ll still be making a trip downstate right before the holiday to visit my family and friends, and to celebrate the season together.

Celebrate my birthday – 11/13

Since I’m a scorpio baby, I celebrate my birthday every November 13th. I’ll be turning 22, and I’m lucky enough to celebrate my birthday week with my roommate and my best friend. That’s a lot of celebrating in one week!

Thanksgiving – 11/26

Like I said previously, I’ll be working the day of Thanksgiving, but I still plan on joining in on the celebrations. I’ll be watching a live stream of the parade, and I’ll be having a smaller version of the traditional Thanksgiving dinner with my boyfriend. Also, I’ll be celebrating beforehand with my family and friends in the days before the holiday.

Final clean out before Winter

Now that I’m trying to minimize my lifestyle and get rid of all the junk I’ve hoarded throughout the years, I’m planning on doing one big final clean out before winter comes. I have quite a lot of stuff in my basement, and I’d like to go through it all before the basement becomes freezing and I’m too lazy to get out of bed!

Let me know in the comments below what you’re looking forward to this month!
