Mini Makeup Declutter

Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today’s post is a mini makeup declutter, I’ve been on a bit of a cleaning spree the past few days and I’m preparing to clean up before the holiday season gets too busy!

The first two products I decided to get rid of were the Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoos  in Sandy Shores and Bad to the Bronze. While these were alright products when I first got them, they’ve long since dried out and just aren’t my favorite way for applying eye shadow anymore.

Next to go is the Nivea Lip Butter in Vanilla and Macadamia Kiss. While I love this scent, I’m not a fan of lip products in tins. Plus, this was starting to get on the older side.

I got rid of two concealers, the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser in Light Pale and the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Fair. The Instant Age Rewind has a great formula, but I find it hard to apply or get a fair amount of product due to the sponge tip The Fit Me concealer is amazing, however this product got infected somehow and keeps making the skin around my eyes incredibly dry. I’ve since repurchased this product and haven’t found the same results.

The ELF Eye Primer and Liner Sealer I just wasn’t very impressed with, the primer once again makes my eyes painfully dry and I honestly just have no need for the liner sealer.

Lastly, I got rid of three eyeliner products: the NYX Super Skinny Marker, NXY Wonder Pencil, and a sample eyeliner I received some time ago. The NYX Skinny eyeliner marker is a great product, I’ve just found it dries out really quickly. I have no need for the Wonder Pencil, I’ve tried it on my waterline and haven’t noticed any difference. For the small sample eyeliner pencil, it worked and I liked it, however it never came with a brand name on it so I have no idea how to repurchase it.

Thanks for checking out my mini decluttering post and let me know if you have any product recommendations to replace these. See you next time!
