November 2015 Favorites!

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today’s post is going to cover a few of my favorite products from November,  ranging from makeup to fashion to TV series. Check out my November Faves below!

Makeup

I’ve had the Sephora Blinged Palette for a while now, but this month I’ve been reaching for it more than usual in an attempt to get more into eyeshadow. It comes with five lip colors and a blusher at the bottom, however I’m not really fond of the application for the lip colors and the smallness of the blush. But the eyeshadows are probably my go to for daily makeup. I love the medium brown color in my crease paired with the gold on my eyelid, it creates a gorgeous warm eye look perfect for my brown eyes.

Since November is my birthday month, for the Ulta birthday gift I received the Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie lip gloss in the shade Birthday Babe. I’ve never been a huge fan of lip gloss because of how sticky it is, but this product is perfect because that sticky feeling goes away within minutes. I really love this product and I’ve been wearing it during my work days!

For everyday lip wear, I’ve been loving the Candy Cane Chapstick. Not only is this incredibly festive, but it’s really great to wear on a day to day basis. The peppermint in this chapstick is great for adding moisture to your lips, and it almost feels like it plumps your lips bigger as well. Plus, it’s pretty cheap since it’s Chapstick, and I keep a few of these scattered between my purse and my desks at work and at home!

Going along with makeup, I’ve been loving this CVS Eye Makeup Remover to take off my makeup at night. It’s oil free, which is great for my oily skin, and it works really well taking off hard to remove eyeliner (looking at you Benefit They’re Real Liner)!

A late favorite for this past month has been Essie’s Licorice, which is a gorgeous true black color. I’ve always loved black nails since I was a wee wannabe emo teenager, and I especially love them in the winter when darker colors are more in style. My mom picked this up for me while I was at home and it’s been the only color on my nails since then. Definitely check this out if you want a black nail polish that has a good formula and won’t chip super quickly!

Fashion

Both my work style and my casual style are based on one key attribute: comfort! This month (as well as the past few months, let’s be honest here) has been this amazingly cozy blue cardigan from Forever 21! It’s super fuzzy and perfect for when I’m working and it gets a bit chilly in my office. It’s also super cute and can be dressed up or down!

TV Shows

Ok so, I’m like high-key obsessed with this show. If you’ve been living under a rock, Jessica Jones is the latest of the Netflix original TV series, which partnered with Marvel to create series about a set of superheroes. Before Jessica Jones came Daredevil, which I’ve raved about in a pervious favorites, but this series is just amazing! Strong female characters, amazing acting and story, and David Tennant as the villain (who I’m basically obsessed with as well tbh)! Definitely check this out if you’re a fan of superhero shows, or you like something more dark and edgy!

Also in my TV favorites this month is Survivor Cambodia/Second Chances! Following the season finale of Big Brother 17, I decided to dive back into Survivor after I stopped watching it for a few years. Now I’m caught up on the payers returning this season and it has truly been amazing! I love Spencer, Jeremy, and Tasha most of all, and Fishbach has a special place in my RHAP heart! Survivor’s actually ending this season in two weeks or so, so definitely catch up if you like classic reality tv and want something to watch while procrastinating finales!
