Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today’s post is going to be a fashion post dedicated to some of my favorite looks for Valentine’s Day. I love this holiday because it gives me a reason to dress up and look fancy for the occasion, I love being able to wear cute skirts and twirly dresses! Check out the post below for some Valentine’s Day Fashion Inspiration!
My first outfit is this gorgeous white lace dress from Forever 21 paired with a long black cardigan from Old Navy. My heels are a really comfortable pair of nude heels from Payless. I love this outfit and have worn it plenty of times for dressier occasions, however the white lace seems to just scream romance to me. I know that at least here in New York, Valentine’s Day is going to be freezing, but even restaurants can be a bit chilly so pairing a dress with a cardigan makes the outfit just a bit more practical. The nude heels deviate from the normal black heels, and I think they look really nice with the white dress, as they don’t take the attention away from the lace detailing.
My next outfit is still dressy but for people who don’t want to wear a dress. I am wearing a cute scoop next black top from H&M that has a pink heart pink on it, a black skater skirt from Forever 21, and black wedge heels from Payless. I abolustely adore this top, the hearts are incredibly cute and the scoop neck is flattering yet appropriate. I tucked the top into a black skirt, as black pretty much goes with anything and it doesn’t take away from the heart print. The wedge heels make this outfit more fun and are perfect for people who aren’t used to wearing heels. Lastly, I added a black bow headband that has hearts printed on it almost like polka dots. I love how cute and fun this outfit is, perfect for going out with friends on Valentine’s Day or even a more causal date!
My last outfit is a more realistic portrayal of how many of us spend Valentine’s Day, and how I’ll be spending that night after dinner since I work the next day! I’m wearing some Ambercombie sweatpants, a Nike tank top, and and H&M hoodie. I’m a sucker for comfy clothes, and what better excuse is Valentine’s Day to dress comfy and binge watch a show on Netflix?!
