July 2016 Favorites

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today I’m going to be sharing some of my favorite products and things from this month, July 2016! I’ve been slacking on favorites for the past few months simply because I’ve been trying to save some money so I haven’t been trying out new products, but this month I managed to try a few new things and really like them! Check out my favorites below!

Rimmel London Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Liner Pencil

I had the urge this month to try a #TBT product and relieve my high school days of only eye pencil on my water line, but using it more modernly. I’ve been pretty lazy with makeup this month due to the crazy heat, so my average work day makeup has been tight lining with this pencil and a swipe of mascara, and I have to say I love this product! It’s water proof and tends to stay on pretty well throughout the day, and unless I sleep with it on I don’t usually have any fallout under my eyes from this. It’s been great just to add a bit of definition under my lashes for a quick and easy work day look.

Benefit Goof Proof Brow PencilIMG_0416

Since I’ve been doing a very minimal everyday makeup look, when I fill in my brows I want to look natural and simple, and this product works perfectly for that. This brow pencil makes it easy to use a light hand and is pretty hard to over fill. Plus, I got this as a free gift from Ulta so I’ve been able to discover a new, awesome product for free!

I finally lost my favorite pair of YikYak sunglasses in June that I’ve had for a year after my internship, and I was pretty devastated. This month I finally sucked it up that my beloved free sunglasses were gone and took a trip to Target to grab a cheap pair I won’t grab when I lose them. While these will never replace my love for my beloved sunglasses, these fit my face pretty well and they protect my eyes, so I can’t complain too bad. Summer staple, cheap, and they do the job – I’m pretty obsessed!

Everyday Glasses

I never thought I needed glasses for years until I did. My eyes constantly hurt at work, where I was staring at a computer screen all day, and when I was in the car signs looked pretty blurry far away. A few months back I got a eye exam and discovered that I did, in fact, need glasses every now and then when I’m driving or my eyes start hurting. This month I’ve been wearing my glasses quite a bit because they not only help me see correctly, but they also look pretty cute in my opinion!

Big Brother 18

Is it the summer if I’m not talking or mentioning Big Brother somewhere?! To be completely honest I’m pretty disappointed with the cast this season, but I have been watching live feeds and the show all week, so it’s been a big part of this past month and my summer as a whole. I guess I’m cheering for Bridgette, Natalie, and Victor(?) because the rest of these people are pretty terrible both as game players and people in general.

The Vampire Diaries

Ever since finishing my catchup of Pretty Little Liars I’ve been looking for a new teen drama TV show to watch and TVD fills this hole in my heart. It’s pretty stupid, since it’s about teen vampires, but it’s fun, drama filled, and the makeup and outfits are really cute. As of writing this I am just starting season 3 on Netflix and I’m obsessed, I’ve just been marathoning it while writing or planning. It’s a fun show so check it out if you’re into teen soap operas!

So there you have it, some of my favorite things from July 2016! What are some of the things you loved last month? Let me know in the comments below!
