Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today’s post is a bit late from when I usually post it, but I thought I’d share my March goals for this month. My goals are a mixture of serious things I’d like to accomplish, as well as fun seasonal things that only apply to this month! Check out my March 2017 goals below!
I’m always trying to find more time to read now that I’ve been out of school for a few years, and this month is no different. I’m looking to complete three full books this month, as I’m trying to read 30 books this year.
This month has the festive holiday of St Patrick’s Day, and I’m looking to celebrate this month! I want to have some type of plans for the night, even if my boyfriend and I just check out the local bar scene. I also want to wear more green pieces in my clothing this month to celebrate the holiday.
As the spring season draws closer, I’m looking to start pulling out my spring wardrobe, wearing more skirts, dresses, and warmer weather clothing. I’m also hoping to explore three new places in New Hampshire this month, since we did recently move here and I want to find more cool places to enjoy and spend time at!
My last three goals are all about bettering my life in the long run. Firstly, I want to start working out two times a week, nothing crazy just working on stretching and light workout. I also want to start writing in a daily gratitude journal to focus on positivity and combat the negative thoughts that occur with anxiety and depressions. Lastly, I want to start researching graduate schools in the area so I can start moving forward in my career path and bettering my future.
So there we have it, my goals for the month of March 2017! What are some of your goals or plans for the month? Let me know in the comments below! Have a great day!

Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today I thought that I’d share my makeup collection and why/how I have minimized my makeup stash. For some background info, I’ve been interested and wearing makeup regularly since my freshman year of college, which would be around 4 or 5 years ago. I just to have a massive collection of makeup (pretty heavily drugstore brands) and I have massively decluttered the summer before my senior year of college and throughout this past year. Check out which products I’ve kept in my collection and why I’ve minimized my collection below! Continue reading
Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog, today’s post is going to be my take on a Spring makeup tutorial! When I think spring makeup, I think of fresh skin, more warm and neutral eyes, and a nude lip. I’m never really one for bright lips, but when I do go for them I try to use them more in the summer. For this makeup I really wanted to realize my idea of spring makeup and make it really wearable and fun to do. Check out my spring makeup tutorial below!
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog, today I thought I would share with you my realistic everyday makeup. Some quick background about my everyday schedule, I work from 7AM-3:30PM five days a week, so my main priority in the morning is figuring out just how late I can sleep in without being late to work! I’ve managed to get my everyday makeup down to my basic essentials, so here they are!
My everyday makeup consists of the main items I need to feel confident about my appearance. My absolute must have for everyday makeup wear is eyeliner, something about it just makes me feel put together and like myself. I use the Rimmel Exaggerate Liquid Eye Liner to make sure my liner is going to last all day without smudging! I also feel better about appearing in public with my eyebrows under control, so I lightly fill them in using the IT Cosmetics Brow Powder in Universal, and I love this because it makes my brows look good without being over the top – perfect for a work setting.
I also use just a tiny bit of concealer under my eyes just to cover up the little bit of dark circles I’ve accumulated throughout college, which I just use the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Light. I love this shade because it covers my dark circles and brightens my under eye area. Lastly, I just use a bit of chapstick to moisturize my lips, and right now I’m loving the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Lip Balm. This really moisturizes my lips and it tastes/smells like chocolate!
That’s actually it for my everyday makeup, I really love that I’ve been able to get such a minimalist look for my work schedule. As someone who used to wear a full face of makeup everyday for classes, I’m quite proud of myself for feeling more confident without all the fuss. I still love getting all done up on my days off, but with the five minutes I give myself to get ready this is more than enough!
Let me know in the comments below what you’re everyday makeup looks like, and I’ll see you all next time!
